Acknowledgements

Above all I want to thank my beloved wife Emmy. Despite less attention than usual, all the room penetrating noises, sounds, sawdust clouds, bad smelling glue vapors, endless computer and test activities and other undertakings that got out of hand during the design and building of the EB-guitars, Emmy kept her interest and enthusiasm all the way. She deserves a golden medal.

I also want to thank Oswald J. Verbeij, a Dutch Luthier for his professional and useful comments. Important during the design was the use of CAD plans for which all credits are for my son Gerard. Last but not least I am very grateful to my daughter Anke for her advice, comments and in particular for making this website.
